A tutor in your pocket for children who find maths hard.

Countkind starts where your child feels comfortable and builds up one small step at a time. It launches in 2027 with adaptive practice and a parent dashboard; explanations that walk through mistakes follow in a later update.

Sound familiar?

  • Homework ends in tears, or never quite starts.
  • They understood it yesterday and can't today.
  • They've decided they're "just bad at maths".

Often the trouble isn't this week's topic. It's something further back that never settled, like place value, number bonds or what multiplication actually means. School moves on, the gap stays, and everything built on top of it wobbles.

How Countkind will work

  1. You set it up.

You create the account and a profile for each child. Your child never needs an email address.

  2. A gentle start.

A short starting check begins below your child's level, so the first questions feel easy. There's no timer, and no right or wrong marking. Their answers show Countkind where to begin.

  3. Practice that adjusts.

Each session picks the next step from how your child is getting on. There are no timers, and stars are never taken away.

  4. You see the picture.

A parent dashboard shows what's secure, what's next and how practice is going.

Built around the English National Curriculum and the IB at launch, with more curricula to follow.

For children who find maths hard, whatever the reason

Countkind is for any child who struggles with maths, including children with dyscalculia. It doesn't diagnose or treat dyscalculia, and it isn't a substitute for a specialist assessment or a teacher's support. It's regular, calm practice, designed so that a child who has fallen behind can get questions right from the very first session.
